Nichole Willis begins her 1st year with the softball program. Her responsibilities include working with the Cougar outfielders, hitters, as well as strength and conditioning. "Coaching is my passion. I want our players to not only attain the best experience ever, but also become leaders in our society." Willis, 2008 graduate of Fresno State, started all 4 years for the Bulldogs. She finished her career with a .300 lifetime batting average, 23 homeruns, 39 doubles, 127 RBI's and a .996 fielding percentage. During her 4 years at FSU, Willis was honored numerous times, including: Easton All-American, All-West Region, All-WAC (twice), WAC Freshman of the Year and FSU Scholar-Athlete. During her time at Clovis High, Willis was named NFCA All-American (3 times), All-West Region (3 times), All-State (twice), All-Valley (twice), All-TRAC (3 times), NFCA Academic All-American (3 times), as well Diamond Sports National Catcher of the Year. She was also named Clovis High's Athlete of the Year her senior year. In Willis' words: "Clovis High is a family. The softball program stands for everything a program should. It is honest, hard working, has pride culture and history. They are extremely dedicated to being the best people, athletes, citizens, leaders and program. Her hobbies include: All sports, lifting weights and spending time with family and friends.
