Tim Douglas

Assistant Coach

Tim Douglas begins his 13th year with the softball program. His responsibilities include working with the Cougar pitchers, catchers and outfielders, as well as first base coach.  "I can't imagine doing anything else with my spring afternoons.  Win or lose, on the field or in the classroom, this is one of the best bunch of young ladies around."  Tim has also been a big part of the emergence of Cougar Park, as one of the finest high school ballparks.

Douglas is a 1993 graduate of Harding University, located in the state of Arkansas. He has a Bachelor’s degree in History and a Master’s Degree in Special Education.

Douglas started at Clovis in 1993 and is currently teaching in the History department. He has been involved in athletics throughout his teaching career, coaching 3 years of football, 2 years of baseball, and 12 years of softball.  "I am proud to be apart of the winning tradition here at Clovis High School.  I was given so much as a student/athlete while a student here and I just hope that I can give a small part of that back."

Tim was married May 23rd, 1992 to his wife Juliet. The two had their daughter, Bailey, on August 10, 1999. His hobbies include: Fly fishing, hunting and camping.
