2008:  NFCA SCHOLAR-ATHLETE...HONORABLE MENTION ALL-TRAC...Junior started in all 36 games for the Cougars at three different positions...Collected first career hit on February 29 vs. Los Banos...Had a 5 game hitting streak, during which time she hit .357 (5-15)...Collected 5 multi-hit games and a team high 8 multi-RBI games...Drove in 3 game-winning RBIs...Led the team with 26 RBIs.

Personal:  Born 1/17/91 in Clovis, CA...Future plans include attending an NAIA school and playing softball there...Career goals include majoring in Kinesiology to become a physical therapist...Hobbies include music and Sudoku...Is a member of the Interact club...Admires her Grandmas because they are both such strong and independent women...Is member of the Principal's Honor Roll...Lists Silence of the Lambs as her favorite movie, coconut shrimp as her favorite food and American Idol as her favorite TV show...Has a brother: Andy (25)...Daughter of Lori and Allan Kroeker.

Coach Noel says: "Alanna is a player who can dominate a game.  Whether it be from the circle or from the plate, Alanna's power is a game changer.  A NFCA Academic -All American, Alanna's work ethic is contagious to those around her.  I look for Alanna to be a big reason we have success this season."

In Alanna's own words: "What is there not to like about Clovis Softball?  I like that we seem to take more pride in our school name, skills and work ethic than most schools.  I also like the sense of tradition and history about it.  And we always have the nicest field, always!"
