Personal:  Born 9/25/94 in Clovis, CA...Future plans include going to Columbia University and Harvard Medical School and become an anesthesiologist...Few people know she is Portuguese...Lists reading, listening to music and being with her family as her hobbies...Is a member of CSF, CHS Leadership, Young Successful Latinos and Class of 2012 club...Lists Derek Jeter as her role model because he never gives up and he always does what is best for his team...Lists A League of Their Own as her favorite movie, Mexican as her favorite food and Make or Break It as her favorite TV show...Has two siblings: Kennedy (13) and Ryann (7)...Daughter of Yvonne and David Diaz.

Coach Noel says: "Jordyn is a great teammate.  She is without question one of our best workers.  Everything Jordyn does is to the best of her ability.  Before Jordyn is done at Clovis High she will do a lot of great things.  I'm so happy I get to spend a few hours with Jordyn Diaz each day."

In Jordyn's own words: "What I like about Clovis Softball is that it is never easy.  It is always a challenge and we are never expected to do less than good.  I like the intensity at every practice.  I like how we have to hustle everywhere and that we have to dress the same and look the same.  It makes us look good and like a team.  I like the feeling of being a family, not just a team."
