Coach Noel says: "Alissa is a fantastic young lady and athlete. Blessed with great athletic ability, Alissa's greatest assets are her work ethic and her ability to lead, even at a young age. Clovis High has been very fortunate to have catchers like Costa, Willis, Reed and Roberts and with Alissa that tradition continues. Clovis High is very fortunate to have such a quality young person in it's classrooms and playing fields."
In Alissa's own words: "What I like most about Clovis Softball is everything that it stands for: pride, unity and tradition. It is about working hard everyday on and off the field. Pushing yourself to limits you never thought you could reach. Every time I step on the field in my Cougar uniform or practice gear, I know that I am apart of something special. It's a program about discipline, hard work, respect and and team. We are taught that it's more important to play for the name on the front of the jersey. I love that those who have never played here don't get it or understand it and we do."
